Mike
Pittman
October 18, 1954 -
January 13, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and
tragic passing of Mike Pittman of Fox Harbour. If a man was
to die doing something he dearly loved, Mike certainly did that by
spending his final moments on the ice playing hockey.
Mike had a strong sense of family and he lived to take care
of mom and his grandchildren.
Left to mourn with broken hearts are his wife Deanie; his
children Michael (Angie) and Melissa (Mark Picco); his step-children
Barbara (Bruce Herron), Kathleen (Wish Pittman), and Claudette
(Charlie Pittman); his son/brother John (Wanda); his siblings Tom,
Rob, Jim (Trudy), Wish (Kathleen), Philip (Belinda), Carmel (Steve
Sullivan), and Darlene. Also leaving to mourn are his
grandchildren who idolized him because he was always doing something
to make them laugh – Mason & Matthew, Kayden
& Cameron and their dad Aaron Perry, Laura, Hillary &
Heather, Mark, Adam & John and their mom Sharon Newman, Evan
& Francis, Zackery & Marcus, and the apple of his eye
great granddaughter Anna; as well as many loving in-laws, nieces,
nephews, other family members and dear friends.
Predeceased by parents John & Bridget Pittman, infant
sister Kathleen, sister Minnie Collins, niece Jackie Collins,
parents-in-law Maurice & Ellen Whiffen,
brothers/sisters-in-law Anita Pittman, Marion Pittman, Martha
Griffiths, Annie Whiffen, John, Joe & Ben
Whiffen.
