Randy McGrath

1957 - 2025

Died suddenly at Placentia Hospital on January 7, 2025.

Left, with a lifetime of wonderful memories, his wife Carol, sons Seamus and Zachary, and his brother Rick. Brothers and Sisters-in-law Bill, Anne-Marie & Herbert, Terry, Sean and Seamus. Special niece Jessica and her husband Gorka. Plus, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As a petroleum technologist, Randy travelled the world and enjoyed most of it. For over 40 years in the oil fields, Randy met and worked with some of the best people a person could ever hope to have as co-workers. Too many to name, but you all know who you are.

Once his sons were born, he never left home without taping their bedtime stories so that they would always remember the sound of his voice and the many, many voices from the stories he would relate. Many of them "made up" just for their enjoyment.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday, January 11 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. Burial to take place at a later date.
