Adrian Martin Canning passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 17, 2024. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Jon), son Calvin (Sheri), beloved grandchildren Isaac and Isla, brothers Jerome (Cathia) and Lawrence (Diane), and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Born in Merasheen and raised in Placentia, Adrian cherished his family deeply. He met his beloved wife, Sharon Mullaley, and together they built a life filled with love and happiness. Adrian was especially proud of his children and delighted in his grandchildren, finding joy in their unique personalities and accomplishments.

Adrian had a wide range of interests, including religion, world politics, and health. He was an avid reader and enjoyed engaging in thoughtful conversations, always encouraging his family to embrace life with curiosity and positivity.

Even in his final days, Adrian maintained a hopeful outlook, believing in the meaningful connections of life. He is remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the positive impact he had on everyone around him.

Adrian is now reunited with Sharon, as they embark on their next beautiful adventure together.
 
Funeral arrangement entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, NL.  Visitation to take place on Tuesday, October 8th from 5pm to 8pm. There will be a rosary with the family at the funeral home shortly after 7pm.  
 
Funeral Service to take place 10:30am at Maher's Funeral Home, followed by inurnment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia. 
 
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
