and Uncle Harold. She will be dearly missed by many cousins, extended
family members and friends.
Predeceased by, her grandparents Rose and Kippy Coffey,
Mother Mary, Uncles, Maurice, Paddy and Jeremiah, Aunt Anne, Mother
and father in law, Bridget and David Dalton, sister in law, Theresa
Coffey and her very special friend, Dwight Findlay.
Mom was the rock solid foundation our family was built on.
She was a very versatile individual who became a dear friend to
everyone she knew. She was a very knowledgeable person who helped many
who sought her direction or advice. Her love for her family was
expressed in her every action, in spite of all the sickness she
endured. In those few words, we are only touching on how much we
appreciated mom. While we are overwhelmed with sadness at her passing,
we are thankful to Almighty God that he chose to put an end to her
suffering she was going through for the last while. We would like to
thank all those in our community and surrounding area who received mom
and spoke well of her. Your kindness will never be
forgotten.
We would like to mention mom’s lifelong friends,
Maureen Pearson, Loretta Conway, and Lucy Merner who sat by her
bedside and were loyal and devoted to the end. We thank you for your
friendship to her for many years.
As a family, we would especially like to express our
gratitude to mom’s sister in law, our aunt, Imelda Dalton.
You have been our rock for the last number of years and a dear friend
to mom. You are the best. Also, to Aunt Bride O’Rourke for
caring for mom’s most precious, her dog Marley. We know she
was in a "safe harbour".
A special thank you to the staff of Placentia Health Centre
for their loving care in Mom’s final days. You went above
and beyond and we greatly appreciate your compassion during that
time.
