May 9, 1933 - February 9, 2020

Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre on February 9, 2020, Audrey Smith, of Dunville, at the age of 86 years. 

Predeceased by her husband Columbus, son Michael, parents Tobias and Mildred Power, brothers Douglas Power and Bernard Power, sisters Sheila Lambe and Barbara Noseworthy, and other members of the Smith and Power family. 

Leaving to mourn are her children Millie (Ken), Maryann (Donnie), Marlene (Steve), Trudi (Glenn), and Sheila (Darren); grandchildren Corinne, Charlene, Matthew, Christian, Angie, Emily, Ryan and Ben; great-grandchildren Ayla, Bobby and Jake; brothers Melvin Power (Frances) and Ken Power (Cecile); in-laws George Smith (Vivian), John Smith (Ann), Dolly Vidal (Camie), Gertie DeMasi, Adelia Walsh and Doris Smith (Skip); many nieces, nephews, and other members of the Smith and Power family; as well as her boy Gizzy.

She was a very special mom, who was kind to all, and took pride in all of her family.  She was a devoted volunteer in many local groups including the Women's Institute, Hospital Auxiliary, and St. Anne's Sodality. She will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. 

Special thanks the staff at the Beachside Manor for their care and devotion over the past several months, the caring staff at the Placentia Health Centre, as well as George, Viv, John, Annie, Doris, Millie, Ken and her special girl Angie who were lovingly by her side over the years.  

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Visitation to take place on Tuesday from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.  Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10:30am on Wednesday, February 12th at St. Anne's Church, Dunville.  Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Dunville.
